Bold offers a full creative service, from concept to design to realisation. We work with many types of clients, and regardless if the client is small-scale or monumental, local or global, a start-up or a long time established brand, it is always our aim to explore and discover the ultimate potential for each project or brief.

One of the important differences with our process compared to others is the use of strategy and research to create very specific briefs for the design team.

We have, together with a team of experts in brand analysis, created a way to examine what drives purchase and customer preference in different categories.

Taking a data-driven approach allows us to isolate what’s important for our clients, before handing it over to the designers for creative execution. Based on this knowledge we find a unifying and unique conceptual idea that everything is built around. This way we create brand consistency in all channels and platforms.

The Bold history

Hurray! After only three years we were crowned the best design agency in Sweden

Bold was founded in 2011 by creative director Oskar Lübeck and CEO Carl-Fredrik af Sandeberg together with one of Scandinavia’s leading advertising agencies, Åkestam Holst, and after only three years Bold was crowned the best design agency in Sweden. Today we have offices in all three Nordic capitals and work with clients from all industries.

Bold is also one of the founding members of The North Alliance, Scandinavia’s most innovative new communications group. Our network has allowed us to build better and stronger brands for our clients.



Not to brag, but…

To compete in creative competitions is an effective way to measure ourselves against our Scandinavian and international competitors. Bold has won awards in most of the major Swedish and international design competitions, such as Eurobest, Cresta Awards, London International Awards, The Red Dot Awards, The One Show, The Dieline Awards, Kolla!, The Swedish Design Awards and Pentawards. We have also been named Best Design Agency in Sweden by our clients.

The awards are not only an acknowledgment that we do great work for our clients; they also help us attract the best talent to our offices.
